The Generosity of the Heart

The most beautiful gracious gift,
Spacious sky, the warmth of the sun,
Embracing everything, everyone,
Is a generous heart.

A most joyous enlightened act,
To give, no thought to gain,
The giver and receiver, the same,
To a generous heart.

And loving all, without condition
The most altruistic aspiration,
Of a generous heart.
